Good-bye and Best Wishes, Mrs. Fama!

Our beloved Mrs. Fama has a wonderful opportunity! She is going to be the assistant principal of the new Haywood Innovative middle school located on the Haywood Community College Campus. Her new position will officially begin full time on January 26th. Mrs. Fama has been an asset to BES as our assistant principal and lead teacher for 3rd-5th grades and I’m so thankful to begin the principal part of my career with her alongside me these past three years! She is one amazing leader and friend and will be greatly missed!! We wish her all the best!!

I will be hiring an interim Assistant Principal for the remainder of the school year and will keep you posted! Like Mrs. Fama, this person will help with all things bus related and will wear many hats as well! Mrs. Rock is going to take over as lead teacher for K-5 now, not just K-2. She will be excellent in this role! Thank you for your patience as we transition in the next few weeks.
