Special Guest visits 2nd Grade…

Last Friday, Bethel was honored to host Mrs. Ingrid Allstaedt from WLOS News 13.  She visited Bethel Elementary second graders following a unit they were studying about weather patterns, tools for measuring weather, and the job of a meteorologist.

Ingrid taught the students that predicting weather is a complicated process with many steps. Not only does she pull her information from resources around the world, but she also compiles that information in order to make predictions and build a forecast.

She later posted on Facebook that she was impressed by the questions the students asked and that she enjoyed her umbrella signed by all the second grade students.
