Book of the Month!

Dear Students,

This book of the month was ordered previously… maybe even a couple of years ago, and has just been waiting in my office to get into your classroom to be read and reread by YOU! Our book of the month is based upon the author’s own family experience of the time they lived in a “house on wheels” out in the middle of a field as they worked for five years on building their own house. Wow! What a long process! This book takes you through each step of the building process, in sequence! As you read, you can see how long it takes to build this house… notice the seasons change!!!

This just goes to show us that real authors get their writing ideas from experiences…. things that really happened in their lives! Then, they turn those life experiences into great stories and publish those stories in books for us to read.

I encourage you to think about YOUR stories and use those in your writing this week and every week!
