Remote Learning Teacher Workday

This is a new thing the state has mandated this year. All public schools in NC were instructed to put 5 of these days in their 2020-2021 calendar. What that means is that Monday, 10/19/2020, the kids do not physically come to school. However, they have work to do. Teachers either sent home a packet of work or they sent home the device and the student has digital work. The day counts as a school day for students.  As long as a student does the work assigned and turns it in, he/she will be counted present for the day. If the student does not turn in the work, he/she will be counted absent and get zeros for the work not done.

Teachers will not be available Monday to answer Remind messages or emails or the phone. Many of them will be taking leave on that day. Please call if you have questions about this.
