New Archway Thermometer

We have a new archway thermometer in the front lobby. That means we will not be taking temperatures in the morning carline anymore. You no longer have to wait on an adult to come to your car and take your child’s temperature. When you drop your students off, you’re attesting that the answers to the questions on the COVID posters are “No”(your child has NOT been exposed to Covid, has NOT tested positive for Covid, and is NOT having Covid symptoms).

Make sure that your child has his/her mask on when they get out of the vehicle. There is no need for you to wait on them to get inside the building. If they have a temperature higher than 100.4 we will call you immediately and ask you to come back and get them. (For the record, we have had ZERO students in our car line since October 5 that we have sent home because of a high fever upon arrival.)

The new thermometer will slow us down a bit as far as students entering the building goes, but it will get quicker each day as the adults and students figure out how the new gadget works.
