Parent Info 10/15/2021

Remember that 10/15 is our last day in this super fun spirit week. Wear the colors of your favorite Haywood County team. I’m thinking that we’ll have lots of Red and Black because the Mill>the Hill…just sayin’. We will still love you if you wear those “other” colors though:)There will be spirit items on sale right outside the cafeteria at lunch time. All items will cost $2 or less.

Thank you for putting forth the effort to help your kids participate in the various days this week; it has been a lot of fun:)

Just a reminder that students do not come to school on Monday and Tuesday, 10/18 & 19. All students will have work to do for the Remote Learning Workday. They may do the work anytime over the long weekend. The work is due when we come back to school on Wednesday, 10/20. If the work is turned in, the student will be counted present for Tuesday, 10/19. If the work is not turned in on Wednesday, he/she will be counted absent for Tuesday.The Remote Learning Workday on Tuesday counts as a school day; that is why students have work to do.

We are so appreciative of our substitute teachers. Subs are invaluable to our school program; we cannot do it without them. The Department of Public Instruction gave a shout out to Haywood County and Madison County Schools in a blog post a few weeks ago.
