One thing that last spring’s parent survey told us was that many parents were interested in helping their kids do better in math, so all grade levels had a virtual math night in late February.
Other areas of interest noted in the survey results were increasing your children’s level of responsibility, self-esteem, assertiveness, and things like that. So…we are offering a virtual parent event for all BES parents on Monday, 3/21, at 6:30 pm.
This will be a short session with practical tips and will most likely validate that you’re already doing lots of great things with your kids. However, there may be a few ideas or suggestions offered that you simply hadn’t thought of before. That is our hope anyway…
The virtual platform will be a google meet. If you are planning to use your phone, make sure you’ve downloaded the google meet app prior to the meeting time. Also, please log in about 5-10 minutes early because we will have to “admit” folks who don’t have a HCS email. If you’d prefer to call in, that is also an option.
