End of Grade Tests
The EOG window opened last Thursday, 5/19, and all of our 5th graders have completed their science test. The Reading & Math tests are this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It is vital that students are on time for testing as state testing rules will not allow us to take a student into the classroom after testing has begun. Mrs. Sherrie and her amazing cafeteria staff are making sure to serve biscuits for breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday this week because the students love biscuits for breakfast.
We cannot have any visitors for lunch until after Memorial Day.
Summer Camp
Summer camp (summer latch key program) starts in two weeks on Monday, June 6. Application packets are available in the office. Please get those completed as soon as possible if you need that program for summer care for your kid(s) because we need to schedule our staff work hours soon and those will depend on number of kids.

Info for Next Year
If you’re interested in being a member of our School Improvement Team or our Parent Advisory Council, please let me know. Parent input is always welcome and being a member of one of these teams is very helpful to us when we’re making decisions for your children. If you have questions, please reach out to me.
If there is a teacher that you would prefer that your child NOT have, please email that to me or put it in writing and make sure I get it. I don’t take teacher requests, but I do take teacher refusals. The deadline for this is June 24. Please make sure you get your information to me by then. Creating class lists is a puzzle and takes a lot of time and thought; requests received after the lists have been made throw a huge wrench into an already difficult process. Thank you in advance!
