- Empowering Principles: These address a child’s physical and environmental needs, including sensory regulation and nutrition, to help them feel secure.
- Correcting Principles:These are used to manage challenging, fear-based behaviors through proactive and responsive strategies, focusing on teaching rather than punishment.
