Parent Newsletter Info 10/6/2021

The school cafeterias across our county (and in several other counties) are having supply chain issues. This means the lunch menu may have to change suddenly and we may not always be able to have the choices listed on the menu we sent home. This is yet one more example of negative “fall out” from Covid (have I mentioned that I’m over all this?!?) Mrs. Sherrie, our cafeteria manager, is doing her best to stick to the published menu but there may be times that she can’t. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

The link to the Holiday Assistance sign up form was included in the last parent newsletter. Since the last newsletter was sent, we have been told about another opportunity to sign up. This sign up will be in person on site at the church.Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church

Dear BES Students and Families,Beginning Monday, October 11, we will be celebrating our infamous Pisgah vs. Tuscola football rivalry game which takes place on Friday, October 15. The days for our SPIRIT WEEK are as follows:

Monday, 10/11: Camo and/or Hat Day! Come to school decked out in camo, your favorite hat, or both.

Tuesday, 10/12: PJ Day! Who doesn’t love to wear comfy PJs to school all day long?!?

Wednesday, 10/13: Pink Out Day! Wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You may also bring $1 to donate to support breast cancer research.

Thursday, 10/14: Bethel Blue and White Day! Bethel the Beautiful is Bethel the Best:)

Friday, 10/15: Red and Black Pisgah Bear Day (or gold and black if you are from the “other” part of the county…if you dare) 🙂

We will have spirit items for sale outside the cafeteria during lunch on Friday. Items for purchase will be $2 or less.

There are many events to come as we are looking forward to another fun filled and exciting year. Thank you so much for your continued support for our school and most importantly for our kids.
