Dear Family, Welcome to o kindergarten at Bethel Elementary School! Your child will attend “kinder kickstart camp“ at the beginning of the school year. Kinder Camp is an opportunity for your child to get his/her first day jitters out, experience the routines of a school day, and meet all of the kindergarten teachers. Your child’s kinder camp/screening days are Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5. The times are from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A snack will be provided. It is important for your child to attend the kinder camp days to be assigned to a classroom for the 2026–2027 school year.
Important dates:
1. Kindergarten orientation / meet your teacher: Monday, August 17 — 9 AM Sharp
2. Family visits at school (optional): Tuesday, August 18 or Wednesday, August 19
3. Staggered start for kindergarten students. (This day will be assigned at orientation): Thursday, August 20 or Friday, August 21. The regular school schedule 8 AM to 3 PM.
4. School for all students: Friday, August 21. Regular school schedule 8 AM to 3 PM.
