Hello, Bethel Elementary School!
I am so excited about being a part of the Bethel Elementary School family, and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
As a native of beautiful Haywood County, I spend a lot of time outdoors- hiking, running, enjoying sports, going to church, and helping my family on our farm. My husband and I have two boys, August and Tilman, and they keep us busy going to practices and games, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and going on all kinds of adventures.
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2005 and taught at Waynesville Middle School for two years before coming back to Bethel Middle to teach and later become the Lead Teacher. I love all my friends and families at Bethel Middle School and enjoyed teaching and leading there for the last 16 years. I’m sure there are many of you that I already know, and we can put all the family connections together very soon!
As I start my 19th year in education, I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you and to laugh, learn, and grow together. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
