Blue Paw Animal Show

Bethel Elementary’s Blue Paw Fan Club enjoyed a special treat last week for working hard throughout the second nine weeks. Friends from Balsam Mountain Preserve came out to Bethel with their animals in tow! Some of the special guests included a possum, an owl, a hawk, and a snake. Each animal was showcased and paraded around the auditorium to give students a chance to get up close and personal. They learned how to identify poisonous snakes and what kind of neat snacks are best for a possum! To obtain Blue Paw Fan Club status students must turn in all assignments, must have minimal checkouts, tardies, and/or absences, and have outstanding behavior. It’s a real honor to be part of Bethel’s finest!
