Bethel Elementary School welcomed families last week at their annual Open House. Providing two options of meeting times with classroom teachers allowed parents some flexibility in scheduling their evening. Teacher meetings ran from 5:00pm until 5:30pm and again from 6:00pm until 6:30pm. In between the classroom meetings, parents attended a brief meeting in the school’s gym to hear from Principal Kim Shipman, PTO Officers, and Title I support staff. PTO also served Chick-fil-a sandwiches throughout the evening. Bethel Elementary believes in the importance of keeping the line of communication between teachers and families open. Families were able to meet (if they hadn’t already) their children’s classroom teachers and hear about classroom procedures as well as upcoming events. Students were anxious to show off their hard work and to show their families around the school. It was a productive evening for all!
