Home / BES Slideshow / Nature Center comes to Bethel Elementary School…

Our first grade has been learning all about nocturnal animals. Tori Duval from the Asheville Nature Center visited each of our first grade classes to teach us even more about the nocturnal animals that reside here in North Carolina. Students enjoyed investigating and feeling animal skins, owl feathers and a few skulls. Students then had to determine which animals were nocturnal and which animals are diurnal.
