BES Summer Reading Program…

Dear Parents and Students,

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

     Once again, Bethel Elementary’s Library will be open throughout the summer. We would like to encourage you to come visit our library and check-out books during the summer months. Research shows us that students lose reading skills if they do not continue reading throughout the summer, and as a result the “summer slide” occurs.

Our summer reading program theme this year will be…

“WE ARE ALL MAKERS!”

     This summer we want to encourage families not only to check-out books throughout the summer, but to also engage and participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities each week. Come play, create, and explore how FUN learning can be!!!

The library will be open each Tuesday, from 10:00-3:00.  Dates BES library will be open:

                                      July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

                                      August 7
